Hi, all,
I mentioned earlier that I would be sharing a bit about my latest novella which I'm working on for a contest I'm entering in August. So here goes:
Scarlet's Web
He died with her name on his lips and the scent of another woman’s perfume on his clothes. His final mistake. Scarlet couldn’t tolerate cheaters. Or liars. Or, well, a host of other sins men enjoyed.
It was a pity, really. She’d liked Sam, but then, she’d liked them all…up until the day she had to kill them.The hotel room clicked shut behind her, and the plush carpeting muffled her footsteps as she crossed the hallway to the elevator.
The cleaning crew would find Sam’s body soon enough, but his killer, well, no one would ever find her. She was too…efficient. Once she’d made her decision, she didn’t change her mind, nor did she leave mistakes behind.
The elevator doors slid shut, encasing her in a box of steel. Yes, it truly was a damn shame.
